Residential Garden

Alexander Rd

This garden is the result of a close collaboration with clients whose passion for horticulture spans continents.

Having cultivated exceptional gardens around the world, they brought a wealth of knowledge and a discerning eye to the project, making the plant selection a collaborative process.

The design unfolded organically over 18 months, anchored by the early acquisition of advanced trees, including a striking multi-stem crepe myrtle, a sculptural multi-stem olive, and a majestic Queensland bottle tree that now commands the front garden. The evolving plant palette embraced an eclectic mix of species, chosen for their form, texture, and seasonal interest.

Stone steppers, provide a tactile pathway through the garden, guiding visitors between layers of planting. Whilst each element was carefully considered, the process retained a fluidity, allowing the design to respond naturally to the plants as they were sourced.

The result is a garden rich in character and deeply personal to its owners, an ever-evolving space where horticultural expertise meets thoughtful landscape craftsmanship.
