The home underwent an extensive heritage renovation, and the garden evolved alongside it through a fluid and collaborative process with the client.
The approach was intentionally restrained, with a carefully curated plant palette proving that less can indeed be more. In the rear garden, a large established hedge was preserved, providing structure and privacy while anchoring the new planting scheme. An olive grove of mature, transplanted trees forms the heart of the front entertaining area, bringing a sense of permanence and Mediterranean charm.
By reducing built form in the garden and allowing the plants to take centre stage, the property has been returned to the landscape.
